Prošlo je pet dana od finala Svetskog kupa u kome je Španija počistila Argentinu sa terena, a u glavi se i dalje vrti misao: “Ovo je trebalo da budemo mi!”

Da li nam je uspeh košarkaša melem za svaku ranu ili je igra pod obručima ušla u genetski kod naroda sredinom prošlog veka više nije ni važno, tek poraz od Gaučosa u četvrtfinalu Mundobasketa je zaboleo i one koje inače boli južnije od duše za sve, pa tako i za sport. One koji su malo bolje upoznati sa dešavanjima u i oko “kraljice igara” boli to što znaju da je propuštena šansa generacije, šansa za koju je pitanje da li će se ikada ponoviti. Ne za to što nismo talentovani, već zato što smo majstori “burazerskih odnosa”, zato što smo “nebeski narod”, zato što hoćemo sve i odmah...

“Brate, ja sam njemu (prvom treneru prim. aut) rekao da hoću da treniram sa prvim timom i da imam sva prava u juniorima ili palim iz kluba, kako je kod vas?”, rekao je mladi igrač Partizana.

“Priključeni smo FMP-u, tu smo da se borimo za mesto u timu”, odgovorio je njegov drugar iz Crvene zvezde.

Imao sam tu "čast" da pre dve godine prisustvujem razgovoru dvojice talenata u autobusu na liniji 95 i da sve ono što sam ranije mislio o srpskoj košarci padne u vodu, pre svega da su klubovi, oni najveći, uzročnici svih problema igre pod obručima u ovoj zemlji. Dvojica igrača “večitih rivala” krenula su na okupljanje nacionalnog tima pred Evropsko prvenstvo mlađih kategorija. Osvojili su zlatnu medalju koja im je dodatno podigla samopouzdanje, veru u sebe, ali i sujetu. Dve godine kasnije nisu na pragu ozbiljnih uloga u seniorskim ekipama.

Pomenuta tema me zainteresovala, pa sam kasnije saznao da igrači prve petorke sa nekog takmičenja na pregovore o prvom profesionalnom ugovoru sa klubom dolaze u pratnji menadžera, podrazumeva se, sa stavom da su baš oni Bogom dani i da zaslužuju ugovore sa šest cifara evropske valute na godišnjem nivou, uz molbu da im se verifikuju profili na društvenim mrežama. Prvi utisak oduševljenja potpisivanjem ugovora, trenutnog zbrinjavanja bliže i dalje rodbine i tapšanja po ramenu brzo menjaju šamari u vidu sedenja na klupi, igranja samo na treningu, a potom i osećaj srama kada vas tim pošalje u neku od svojih filijala u KLS-u. Dobro ste pročitali, većina mladih igrača traži klauzule u ugovoru po kojima ne mogu da budu poslati na pozajmicu u najviši rang takmičenja u Srbiji!

Tokom leta koje je iza nas sve reprezentativne selekcije su podbacile. Prvo je U19 tim zauzeo sedmo mesto na Svetskom kupu na Kritu. Potom je U20 selekcija bila 15. na Evropskom prvenstvu u Izraelu i tako ispala u B diviziju, što se dogodilo prvi put u istoriji bilo kojoj selekciji Srbije. Reprezentacija do 18 godina je završila na 10. poziciji na Evrobasketu u Volosu, dok su kadeti bili sedmi na smotri najboljih evropskih selekcija do 16 godina u Udinama.

I dok se vodeći mediji bave posledicama višedecenijskog lošeg rada u svim strukturama srpske košarke, mi ćemo još jednom pokušati da apelujemo na one koji imaju moć da urade stvari koje bi popravile očajno stanje u klubovima, ligama, struci… Surova istina je da u Srbiji trenutno postoje samo tri profesionalna kluba, jedan sa profesionalnom filijalom, za koju nastupaju 22 stranca! I ne samo da nastupaju, već imaju vodeće uloge. Sa druge strane, više od polovine mlađih reprezentativnih selekcija čine upravo igrači ova tri kluba.

Bilo je leta kada smo osvajali medalje, kada su svi izveštavali o svetloj budućnosti srpske košarke, ali sa uspehom ili bez njega činjenično stanje je takvo da mladi igrači nemaju gde da igraju seniorsku košarku. Ako tome dodamo problem sa početka priče, da je većina njih u svojoj glavi najbolja na svetu, pa kule i gradove koje im obećavaju menadžeri, pa nestrpljenje, uglavnom roditelja, da se što pre izvuku iz finansijke krize dolazimo da razloga loših rezultata reprezentativnih selekcija, ali i krize u srpskoj košarci generalno.

Stanje dodatno pogoršavaju pravilnici u ligama u kojima Savez vodi glavnu reče, a po kojima su dozvoljena četiri stranca u mlađim kategorijama, po kojima ekipa ne može da se takmiči u Juniorskoj i Kadetskoj ligi ukoliko nema seniorsku selekciju, brda besmislene papirologije...

Tema za sebe je i učešće klubova iz Srbije u ABA ligi, kao i univerzalno opravdanje za sve - jurimo rezultat. Šta tačno donosi učešće u regionalnom takmičenju klubovima koji se uglavnom finansiraju iz sponzorstava državnih preduzeća sada kada je i jedno mesto u Evroligi pod znakom pitanja? Da podsetimo, u nju su ušli kada su tri tima išla u elitno takmičenje. Da odemo korak dalje, šta tačno donosi i puko učešće u Evroligi, da ne pominjemo Evrokup? U četvrtfinalu nedavno završenog Svetskog kupa se našlo pet selekcija koje je nemaju klubove u Evroligi, od toga su tri evropske. Košarka se igra svuda, skauting je sveprisutan. Igrači koje vrede isplivaju i mogu da odu u Evroligu, NBA… Koji je to uspeh, odnosno rezultat koji bi mogao da opravda ulaganja u najveće srpske klubove i šta bi on tačno doneo?

Iako će mnogi reći da je utopija, trenutna situacija bi mogla lako da bude rešena ukoliko bi za to postojala volja. Novac koji se besomučno upumpava u najveće srpske klubove bi trebalo da bude usmeren na jaku domaću ligu, na razvoj košarke širom zemlje, na promociju igre pod obručima, na dovođenje velikih imena u manje sredine kako bi se družila sa decom, na organizovanje predavanja mladima o tome koliko je prodaja za novac u trenutku kada trebaju da igraju i da se razvijaju pogubna za njihovu karijeru, ali im istovremeno obezbediti pristojne uslove za rad… Potrebne je ograničiti uticaj menadžera i roditelja, jer bi trener trebalo da bude taj koji igrača izvodi na pravi put. Uz to, "Trenerska klinika" ne sme da bude jedini izvor znanja za stručnjake. Potreban je konstantan rad i usavršavanje, ali i davanje prilike istima da se dokažu, da greše, da sazrevaju... Pravilnici Košarkaškog saveza Srbije moraju da olakšaju rad klubovima, a ne da ih teraju da se gase. Kuća košarke bi trebalo i mora da bude servis klubova i igrača, a ne institucija kojoj je osnovna funkcija isisavanje života iz čoveka koji je već na aparatima.

Nažalost, veliki doprinos propadanju košarke u Srbiji daju i mediji. U vremenu u kome se sve meri klikom i u kome je potrebno ispuniti dnevne kvote malo ko ima vremena, na nesreću i želje, da piše o stvarno bitnim i suštinskim stvarima. Prosečnom Srbendi je mnogo lakše prodati priču o tome ko je koga udario, ko je koga opsovao, ko je zadovoljan što je u reprezentaciji i ko nije, ko je “izdominirao” u “garbidž tajmu” u NBA ligi... Još je bolje napraviti anketu za sedam miliona selektora i pitati ih da li bi bilo bolje da je u Kinu išao ovaj ili onaj.

Pitanja je mnogo, uzorcima se niko ne bavi, a posledice su katastrofalne. Neuspeh nacionalnog tima ne mora nužno da bude loša stvar koja se desila srpskoj košarci ukoliko on otvori Pandorinu kutiju na relaciji KSS-menadžeri-roditelji-igrači-lige-klubovi-mediji. Odlazak jednog čoveka, uz sve njegove greške i mane, ne može i neće promeniti stanje u srpskoj košarci, posebno ne odlazak onog čiji je rad u poslednjih pet godina uspeo da sakrije da je sistem truo!

Nije peto mesto ono što me brine već pitanje da li ćemo, ukoliko ovako nastavimo, ponovo doći u situaciju da pružimo ruku boljem u četvrtfinalu Svetskog prvenstva i da to doživimo kao neuspeh?
